Week 36ish….Getting Close Now!

That’s right…less than a month until Baby Walker arrives… We are very excited, and feel almost partly ready! Here is another picture of the beautiful mom to be at 36 Weeks:

Oh Christmas Wreath….Oh Christmas Wreath!…

Greetings! Susan and I had a great Christmas at home this year with the Pets. We all gathered ’round the Christmas Wreath for gifts and fun with packing materials! Here are a few pictures. As always, all of them are up at Flickr.

A word from Susan!

Well there are now officially only 8 weeks left before my due date of February 1^st! Dave and I are really excited and are busily preparing for the big day and all of the days after that. A lot of work goes into getting ready for our new addition. We are finishing the jungle themed nursery and are in the middle of painting a huge a jungle mural on one wall. I am still feeling great and the doc says that I am right on track with everything and am looking great! You can see in the picture below that I am getting bigger by the minute- and I love it! I think Dave and I are both totally amazed by the changes in my belly- we can now see the baby moving since it is putting on some ounces in there and getting bigger and more cramped- that is fun to watch. We will keep you updated!

Long Overdue Updates

Greetings all! Sorry that we have been slow to keep this up to date, but these things happen. Susan is still feeling and looking great! She is around 31 weeks pregnant…(that’s about 7 months I think). February 1st will be here before we know it. Since the last update, we had lots of family visit: Susan’s Aunt Jane and Uncle Gene came to spend a weekend, Susan’s Mom and Sister came to spend about a week and put on a big party for Susan, and My Mom, Dad, Sister and Niece were all in attendance. There are lots of photos from the shower and both family weekends at our Flickr site (click the blue text). You may have to sort through a bunch of other fun pictures first. Our friend Jessica arranged a behind the scenes tour at the Denver Zoo the day after Thanksgiving! We got kisses from a sea lion (she was Gidget, the one who picks Broncos games on TV), got to feed giraffes and a rhino and got to sneak timidly by a bunch of lions…. So there are a bunch of photos from the tour on Flickr as well. Enjoy!

Week 25!!!

Greetings everybody. Your eyes don’t deceive you…Susan is at Week 25. Almost the third trimester. Hard to believe. Maybe in a few weeks it will finally sink in that it’s for real. That’s probably the topic of the first night of childbirth class (Which starts in a few weeks). Here’s a note from Susan: Click HERE to see the picture on Flickr with all the rest.

Week 25 picture! By the time this picture is posted to the website I will have only about 14 weeks to go- the time is going by pretty quickly. There is not much to report- the baby and I are healthy (as is Dave) and s/he is growing every day. Dave and I can both feel a lot of movement, so whether it is a boy or a girl, it certainly is rowdy! We have been watching the Rockies win game after game, so maybe it is a baseball fan already! Enjoy the new picture!

Week 23!!!!

Hello again. That’s right…we are at Week 23. So far so good. We painted our baby’s room last weekend. A nice light green (very neutral). Greetings!! Some new photos…

Hard to believe that we are half way to having a baby……..wow, fainted for a second…what did I miss?
